Terms of Service

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.

Templet lets you build reusable document templates and generate documents from them. You may use the Service only in compliance with these Terms and applicable law. You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading purpose;
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service;
• Upload content that infringes the rights of others or violates any law;
• Resell or provide the Service to third parties except as expressly permitted.

You retain all ownership of the templates, documents, logos, and other content you create or upload (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you. You are responsible for Your Content and for having the rights to use it.

The Service offers a free plan and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Payments are processed by our authorised reseller and merchant of record, Paddle, who handles billing, invoicing, and applicable taxes. By purchasing a paid plan you also agree to Paddle’s buyer terms.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. See our Refund Policy for details on refunds.

Paid plans include AI features that write templates from a description, turn an uploaded PDF into an editable template, and edit an open template on request. To provide them, the content you submit — your instructions and the relevant template — is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, and processed on our behalf. See our Privacy Policy for details.

AI features are subject to a monthly allowance that varies by plan, and are provided on a fair-use basis. If a workspace reaches its allowance, AI features pause until the allowance resets at the start of the next monthly period; the rest of the Service is unaffected. We may adjust allowances, and may rate-limit or suspend AI access where usage is automated, abusive, or materially exceeds normal use.

AI output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your purpose. It is a starting point, not advice. You remain responsible for reviewing and editing anything the AI produces before you rely on it or send it to anyone, and generated content is treated as Your Content under section 3.

You may stop using and cancel the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms. You can export your generated documents before cancelling; we may delete account data after a reasonable retention period following termination.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Templet does not provide legal, financial, or tax advice, and documents you create with the Service are your responsibility. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Templet’s total liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you and update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the jurisdiction of the competent court in Zagreb, Croatia.
